New Georgian Ambassador
On March 24, newly appointed Georgian Ambassador to Armenia Tengiz Sharmanashvili presented the copies of his credentials to RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan.
Greeting the guest, Minister Nalbandyan congratulated him on his appointment and expressed hope that Ambassador Sharmanashvili would make a notable contribution to further development of the multifaceted cooperation with Georgia based on the centuries-old friendship between the nations of the neighboring countries.
Expressing gratitude for the good wishes, the Georgian Ambassador assured that he wouldn't spare any efforts for the strengthening and expansion of cooperation in different spheres.
Minister Nalbandyan welcomed the visit of his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze to Armenia next month.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed a broad range of issues related to the promotion of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic and cultural spheres.
