To arrest Tamamyan?
The general jurisdiction court of Kentron and Nork-Marash districts is currently discussing the appeal filed by the Special Investigative Service to apply a two-month arrest as a precautionary measure for former head of the general department of criminal investigation of the RA Police Hovhannes Tamamyan.
Judge Mkhitar Papoyan will discuss the appeal and his office representatives neither confirmed nor denied the news. They also stated that the trials are held behind closed doors and that they can't provide any information at the moment.
Let us remind that Hovhannes Tamamyan was dismissed from office by the order of RA Chief of Police Alik Sargsyan on February 26.
According to the presses, the dismissal comes after Tamamyan didn't charge the real culprit, but former district head Hovhannes Shahinyan's nephew for a murder that took place in the Arabkir district.
