Farewell meeting with Patriarch
Patriarch of All Georgians Ilya II received outgoing RA Ambassador to Georgia Hrach Silvanyan.
Attaching importance to the friendship between the two Christian nations, the Patriarch of the Georgian Orthodox Church expressed high appreciation of Hrach Silvanyan's diplomatic mission in Georgia and his contribution to the strengthening of that friendship.
During the conversation, the sides touched upon issues related to Georgian-Armenians' church life and the visit of the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II to Georgia in June.
Among participants of the meeting were leader of the Georgian-Armenian Diocese, Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan and high-ranking clergymen of the Georgian Church, as reported by the press service of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
