Karl Bildt to visit Armenia in April
On March 22, newly appointed Swedish Ambassador to Armenia Diana Janse presented copies of her credentials to RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan.
Congratulating the guest, Minister Nalbandyan wished the Ambassador success and expressed hope that as previous ambassadors, Ambassador Janse will also make a significant contribution to the strengthening and development of Armenian-Swedish friendly ties.
Expressing gratitude for the wishes, Ambassador Janse assured that she would do everything possible for further expansion of the Armenian-Swedish partnership.
Speaking about Armenian-Swedish ties, Minister Nalbandyan mentioned that Armenia attaches great importance to the development of cooperation with Sweden in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres.
The minister also welcomed the agenda of Swedish Foreign Minister Karl Bildt's visit to Armenia in early April.
The interlocutors also touched upon the development of Armenia-European Union relations and activities implemented within the formats for cooperation and exchanged views on regional issues.
