5 arrested
Yesterday a group of citizens closed the 3rd km section of the Armavir-Yerevan highway from both ways and the police released a message today.
The message states: "For the elections for mayor of Armavir held on March 20, candidate Sevak M.'s 90 supporters closed the 3rd km section of the Armavir-Yerevan highway and stopped traffic for nearly an hour.
Traffic was regulated thanks to measures taken by police officers.
Five people have been arrested on the scene.
The prepared materials have been sent to the investigative department."
