Croatia’s President to visit Armenia
On March 21, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received a Croatian delegation led by Parliament Speaker Luka Bebic.
Minister Nalbandian said Armenia highly appreciates the relations with Croatia and is interested in cementing bilateral cooperation in different spheres.
The sides stressed that Armenian and Croatian Presidents' mutual visits in 2009 contributed significantly to expansion of bilateral relations.
Edward Nalbandian noted that the Croatian President's visit to Armenia will give a new impetus to the development of Armenia-Croatia relations.
The Armenian FM noted that Armenia attaches great importance to the parliamentary diplomacy, and the visit of Croatia's Parliament Speaker will boost the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation.
The officials emphasized that parliamentary cooperation had a positive impact not only on bilateral relations, but also on cooperation within international agencies.
The diplomats exchanged views on Armenia-EU cooperation, as well international and regional issues.
At the request of the Croatian Parliament Speaker, Minister Nalbandian presented the latest developments in the Karabakh peace process.
