Serzh Sargsyan: "Cooperation with OSCE is important for Armenia"
Serzh Sargsyan received OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Foreign Minister of Lithuania Audronius Ažubalis. Sargsyan congratulated Lithuania on assuming the OSCE Chairmanship and underlined that cooperation within the framework of the OSCE was very important to Armenia.
"I am hopeful that considerable results in ensuring security and cooperation will be registered during your presidency," Sargsyan noted.
Audronius Ažubalis expressed gratitude to the Armenian President for appraisal of his presidency in the organization and readiness to continue cooperation.
The sides discussed OSCE's assistance to democratic reforms underway in Armenia and Karabakh peace process within the OSCE Minsk Group. In that context the parties positively assessed the results of the trilateral meeting in Sochi.
The OSCE Chairperson noted that it was necessary to move forward and continue the talks from that positive starting point.
