Members of Hima (Now) Youth Initiative call on the Armenian authorities to exile government members to Siberia. Today they held a protest outside the government building, chanting "Send ministers to Siberia," "It is enough to fill Russian exile places."

The protesters were angered by the governments' ongoing assistance to migration centers.

"We don't need cabinet ministers because they don't work well. We want them to resign from office and go away," said the protesters.

"A number of migration information centers have been opened in Armenia by the Russian Federation and Armenian Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. With this move, the authorities are accelerating the process of migration," protester Hakob Arshakyan told A1+ advising Armenian ministers to apply to the centers to find new work places abroad.

The protesters stated that about 1000 people have applied to migration centers in Gyumri.

"The large queues outside the centers show that the number of people leaving the country is unprecedently large," said Ani.

Armen Grigoryan presented a package of applications to be filled in and submitted with migration centers by the protesters in the name of government ministers.

They called for resignation of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, chief of the Armenian Police Alik Sargsyan and Minister of Science and Education Armen Ashotyan, offering them to live in Kukuevo, Rostov-on-Don and Syktyvkar respectively.

The protesters are hopeful that the ministers will not miss the chance if they are granted work permits.
