"We're not going to go home until we hear the resignation," said today People's Actor Yervand Manaryan at the Matenadaran. He was the first to speak at today's rally.

Mr. Manaryan called on everyone to not adapt to the current situation and fight for their rights. "Joining me today are my friends and I am certain that there will be more people joining me." Mr. Manaryan ended his speech with screams of "Fight, fight until..." and the gathered joined him with the demand "Now, Now".

Playwright Karine Khodikyan welcomed the gathered from the rostrum and sounded the alarm of the growing emigration. "This regime is probably planning on ruling over the ruins, but we will not allow it. We will fight and shape the Armenia of our dreams," said Mrs. Khodikyan.

After her speech, it was announced that political prisoner Harutyun Urutyan had been released.

"There was this many people in 1988, 2003 and 2008. I am pleased to see that we are moving toward victory," said Aram Manukyan.
