RA President sends condolences to Japanese Emperor
Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to Japanese Emperor Akihito over the devastating earthquake and tsunami that rocked Japan Friday.
"I am deeply shocked by the tragedy in Japan. I extend my deepest condolences to you and the Japanese people over numerous human losses.
I am convinced that the drastic measures taken by the country's authorities will allow overcoming this cruel ordeal.
At this tragic moment, Armenia stands by the Japanese people and is ready to assist in liquidating the consequences of the disaster," reads the letter.
