Armenia chosen as pilot country
On March 10, RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Arman Kirakossian received Head of the UNESCO Department of Education Strategy and Capacity Building David Achoarena and educational programs correspondent Megumi Vatanabe.
Greeting the guests, Deputy Minister Kirakossian attached importance to the program for the implementation of which Armenia has been chosen as one of the pilot countries. The sides valued the methodology for needs assessment of the capacities being developed within the framework of the program, which will be aimed at supporting the assessment of the country's institutional and organizational capacities in the spheres of educational planning and management.
During the meeting, the interlocutors also touched upon the collaboration between the UNESCO's central station and the national committees and emphasized their importance for accomplishing the organization's goals.
