RA MoD: “Azerbaijan attempts to save its image”
The statement of the Azerbaijani Defense Minister is a mere attempt to save the image of his country, Armenian Defense Minister's spokesman David Karapetyan said commenting on an Azerbaijani statement which accuses Armenian armed forces in the death of an Azeri boy.
"The NKR Defense Army has already refuted the information. Azerbaijan has already put itself in a difficult position, having shot an Armenian soldier dead on the eve of the presidential meeting in Sochi," said David Karapetyan.
"The authors of the Azeri misinformation must understand that such cheap steps are not only unconvincing for the international community, but are also shameful, since in this case they speculate on a child's life or create an unsuccessful image of a victim," he stressed.
Azerbaijani media reported earlier that an Azerbaijani boy was allegedly killed by the Armenian armed forces on March 8.
NKR Defense Army today refuted the information saying it was another misinformation of the Azerbaijani propaganda machine.
