We need to mobilize society to save Armenia
"We must be cautious and vigilant as we are living in a difficult historical period," said a former member of the Karabakh Committee, Ashot Manucharyan.
"The present mode of existence has exhausted itself, everybody understands that we need changes. Even people who are against changes realize that they have no other way, but they fear for their fates," he stressed.
According to Manucharyan the country needs to mobilize the society and prepare for changes otherwise the consequences will be catastrophic.
"We need to find a solution beneficial to everybody, including the authorities, opposition and public," said Manucharyan.
We must be guided by the experience of 1988 and reach high-level self-consciousness of the society which will allow everybody to find answers to their questions.
Manucharyan observes an increasing influence of external forces on Armenia's domestic affairs.
