Statement by the department of news and public relations of the RA Police:

On March 3 at around 10 a.m. a group of people protesting the ban on street trade gathered near the government building. Several NA "Heritage" MPs provoked the protesters to move toward the government building and tried to prompt them to clash with police officers maintaining social order within the limits of the powers reserved for them by the law.

Apparently, the MPs' objective was to distract the process and provoke a clash between citizens and police officers. Fortunately, the MPs failed, but the citizens insulted and cursed the police and government officials.

The police were able to reinstate social order. The protesters left the entrance to the government building and continued their action.
