HAK responds to press reports

Armenian National Congress (HAK) Spokesman today dismissed press reports that seven people were taken to police stations as a result of March 1 clashes between police and HAK supporters near Matenadaran.

"We ask everyone who has any information about the incident to contact ask. HAK will do its utmost to protect the rights of the detained," Arman Musinyan told A1+.

According to the source, HAK activists were taken to the Kentron Police Department where they were severely beaten and threatened.
Commenting on the statement of Sardarapat Movement that HAK did not allow them to address people during the March 1 rally, the HAK representative said, "No comments"
