The Heritage faction today left the National Assembly during a NA sitting.

Heritage Chairman Raffi Hovannisian addressed the sitting saying that the NA agenda should express public concerns and demands. He labeled the Coalition Memorandum signed between the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) and Rule of Law Party (OYK) as an anti-constitutional document aimed at providing fewer seats for the parliamentary opposition.

"The memorandum suggests that that Armenia will continue to follow a foreign policy endangering the state," said Raffi Hovannisian whose speech was interrupted by NA Vice-Speaker Samvel Nikoyan. The latter turned off the microphone saying that that Hovannisian's time was up and the issue raised was not included in the NA agenda.

"Pro-government forces are not sufficed with their seats and seek to acquire opposition seats as well," Hovannisian said before leaving the sitting hall.
