The government's TV channel
The RA Government has decided to create a "Spiritual-Cultural Public Television" closed joint-stock company.
The Public Television and Radio Council has been reserved the power of managing the shares, which are state property.
The company's budget for 2011, which is up to 73,245,400 drams, will be used with the funds provided for the "Television Services" program.
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan mentioned that cultural figures and intellectuals have touched upon this issue several times. Currently, the channel will be able to carry out a separate policy on programs, determine the themes for programs and satisfy the spiritual and cultural demands of all layers of society.
