Joyous for Armenian descent
The newly appointed Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Republic of Armenia Jean-Michel Oughourlian presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan today.
The President congratulated the Ambassador on appointment and wished him every success.
Ambassador Jean-Michel Oughourlian noted that it's a great honor for him to be appointed as Ambassador to Armenia and continue the mission of the Sovereign Order of Malta in our country, since he is the only knight of the Sovereign Order of Malta of Armenian descent.
"It's joyous and remarkable that an Armenian is being appointed to this position. I'm confident that your Armenian descent will make your activity in Armenia easier. I'm confident that with your activity you'll help raise public awareness about the Sovereign Order of Malta," President Sargsyan said.
