Reprisal?
Heritage Party considers the criminal case against the leading specialist of Arabkir Prefecture Tigran Postanjyan (brother of Heritage MP Zaruhi Postanjyan) as reprisal against the opposition.
Tigran Postanjyan is accused of receiving illegal remuneration.
Heritage MP Larissa Alaverdyan thinks that the criminal case signals to a new campaign against the vigorous activity of her teammate [Zaruhi Postanjyan]
"This is a sign of helplessness, an attack on the opposition," she said.
"On the eve of the elections, the authorities started political reprisal against everyone who may prevent their return to power," said Stepan Safaryan.
Zaruhi Postanjyan added that they will not retreat and will do their utmost "to expose this trumped-up case."
Tigran Postanjyan has not been invited to an interrogation.
