Incumbent headman reelected in Kuris village
Republican Surik Grigoryan has been reelected headman of Kuris village in Syunik marz.
Grigoryan was the only candidate running for office during the February 20 elections.
Thirty-six out of the 60 eligible voters participated in the poll, voting for the incumbent headman.
On the same day, elections to the council of elders were held in Karashen.
Seven candidates were competing for five seats. Four of them were elected while two received 27 votes.
All of them are affiliated with the Republican Party of Armenia.
