Didn’t BHK sign Coalition Declaration?
On February 17, the Political Coalition - the Republican Party of Armenia, Prosperous Armenia party (BHK) and Rule of law party (OYK) - signed the Declaration of the Political Coalition by which they express support for incumbent President Serzh Sarsgyan during the 2013 presidential election.
Unlike the other two coalition parties, BHK Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan signed the Declaration taking into consideration the stance of the BHK parliamentary group.
"Under BHK regulations, the decision was to be taken by the party's political board or congress, 5-6 days ago. But as we see they did not do it which means BHK has not de facto signed the Coalition Declaration" said Ruben Torosyan, Coordinator of the Pan-Armenian Committee to struggle against HHK illegalities.
