The "Humanitarian Mine-Clearing and Expert Center" State Non-Commercial Organization (SNCO) has been created by the February 17 decision of the RA Government.
This decision will change the legal status of the Humanitarian Mine-Clearing Center established in 2002.
By receiving the status of a SNCO, the mine-clearing center may implement activities that are more flexible and be involved in various international projects.
The Humanitarian Mine-Clearing and Expert Center has the status of a legal person and can efficiently implement the objectives prescribed by the charter. The center will have the opportunity to lead negotiations with international organizations and different foundations involved in humanitarian mine-clearing, sign cooperation and other agreements, as well as receive professional consultation and financial assistance from the above mentioned organizations and foundations, as reported by the press service of the RA Ministry of Defense.
