Rally in Vanadzor
The drivers of cars with Georgian state license numbers and "Heritage" Party representatives today held a rally in Vanadzor protesting against police intimidations.
The police regional department employees had closed the Gyumri-Vanadzor road in front of tens of drivers near Jajur village in the morning.
The police also cause problems for drivers heading from Tashir and Stepanavan.
Several hundreds of citizens participated in the rally held at the central square in Vanadzor in front of Lori regional council. Among speakers were "Heritage" Party MPs Stepan Safaryan, Zaruhi Postanjyan, Armen Martirosyan and head of the "Heritage" Vanadzor subdivision Garnik Sahakyan.
The drivers are protesting against the new customs changes.
