Two new holidays appear in calendar
The Armenian parliament today passed the amendments to the RA Law on Holidays and Commemoration Days with a 93/0 vote.
By a decision of the National Assembly, November 10 will mark Local Government Day in Armenia. The author of the initiative was NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan.
The National Assembly also passed the bill on celebrating Family Day on May 15 with a 95/0 vote. According to the authors of the bill, family which is the main cell of the society is protected by the state.
