The Communist Party of Armenia is preparing for active participation in the 2012 parliamentary elections. First secretary of the party's central committee Ruben Tovmasyan told "A1+" that their votes were simply stolen during the previous parliamentary elections.

The Communist Party of Armenia will be participating with a new program.

"There will be new approaches and we will place emphasis on the youth because after all, the future of our country lies in our hands," Tovmasyan told "A1+".

According to Ruben Tovmasyan, the party currently has nearly 20,000 members.

"If we participate in the elections by the majoritorian order, we will form a specific list," said Tovmasyan.
