90% ready
Despite the difficulties, public transportation is working on schedule, as reported by the department of transportation of Yerevan Municipality.
According to the municipality's press release, public transportation is 90% ready to work in this weather and there have not been any major changes in the schedules of 112 microbuses and 29 buses in Yerevan.
Due to traffic jams caused by the heavy snowfall, drivers of buses 16, 76, 51 and 91 have stopped driving. However, the municipality's transportation department and Yerevan Road Police have quickly restored activities.
According to the press release, all interested organizations have been instructed to upgrade buses and fix the technical situation.
