Heavy snowfall
The Selim mountain pass is currently closed due to heavy snowfall in Yeghvard district on the Abovyan-Hrazdan road, the RA Ministry of Transport and Communication told "A1+".
According to the ministry, the roads of the provinces are currently being cleaned and salt and sand are being sprayed.
Transportation was awful in the morning in Yerevan as well. The heavy snowfall caused traffic in the Small Center, Saralang Street, near the Zoo and the highway to Tsitsernakaberd and it was almost impossible to get from the outskirts like Nor Nork masses to the center. Most buses and taxis were stuck on the roads.
Snow cleaning began in the morning, even though precipitation began last night.
Many citizens weren't able to go to work today and others fear that they won't make it home in the evening.
