“The authorities remained uneducated”
Member of the Sardarapat movement, commander of the Shushi special military detachment Jirair Sefilyan says Serzh Sargsyan's interview with Radio "Ekho Moskvi" goes to show one thing.
"It showed once again that Serzh Sargsyan and the political administration apparently have nothing to do with the Armenian people. If the map of the Autonomous Region of Mountainous Karabakh is still familiar to people like Serzh Sargsyan, then that is their problem."
Sefilyan is not surprised by Serzh Sargsyan's statement according to which the liberated territories were some regions of Azerbaijan that were under control for the creation of a security zone. "This is not the first time that I am hearing such ignorant thoughts from someone who has seized the big chair. We have refused to give advice to these authorities a long time ago. We are certain that there will come a time when we will be free from this regime. The authorities remained uneducated and we will be hearing similar statements until their last day in power."
The commander of the Shushi special military detachment deemed it necessary to remind Serzh Sargsyan that those who liberated the territories had no doubt that they were liberating the homeland and not creating a security zone. "The question is that the authorities have never realized that they have nothing to do with leading a war and that they have simply played the role of servants. Our people won the war."
According to Jirair Sefilyan, through his interview, Serzh Sargsyan is telling intermediaries that he is ready for anything, but there is no need for that. "Today even the international community has realized that the best way of solving the Artsakh issue is to maintain the "status-quo".
The commander of the Shushi special military detachment is surprised by Serzh Sargsyan's statement according to which Armenia will recognize the NKR's independence in case Azerbaijan declares another war. "Does this mean that Armenia will not recognize the NKR in case Azerbaijan doesn't declare a war for 40 years? That is absurd. In general, I consider all discussions on Armenia recognizing the NKR's independence or not as ridiculous. There is no sense in raising such issues during the tenure of the current regime."
