Peacemaking after Confrontation
Armenian Permanent Representative in the UN Karen Nazaryan participated in the UN Security Council Open Debate on Post-conflict Peacebuilding.
"During the discussion and evaluation of peace-building actions, we should focus on the peculiarities of the situation, reasons and consequences of the conflict in order to implement the program more effectively and address the needs of the people affected by conflict," Karen Nazaryan said in his speech.
In this context, he underlined the role of key actors, including states, regional intergovernmental structures, and international financial and public organizations.
