According to its pledge given at the Administrative Court on January 11, today the National Commission on Television and Radio gave "A1+" the opportunity to photocopy the package proposals of ArmNews and ARMENIA television stations.

Let us remind that the NCTR had refused to provide "A1+" with the copies of the package proposals submitted by ArmNews and ARMENIA television stations, forcing "A1+" to appeal to the Administrative Court.

Today in court "A1+"'s attorney Alexander Sahakyan informed Judge Kristine Mikoyan that the NCTR has fulfilled the demand and "A1+" is ready to call back its claim. Judge Kristine Mikoyan accepted the "A1+" representative's declaration as a basis and decided to quash the case.

After the trial, NCTR representative Artak Sargsyan told "A1+": "I didn't understand the meaning of this claim at all. The NCTR had not refused to provide the copies of the package proposals of ArmNews and ARMENIA. It had only said it would provide them after January 20. If "A1+" wanted to know the specific date, it should have asked the NCTR."

"A1+"'s attorney says this clarification is groundless. "The NCTR determines the dates and the period after January 20 could have been before December 31."

"A1+" has received the package proposals of ArmNews and ARMENIA television stations and is now preparing to appeal the NCTR's December 16 decision, which deprived "A1+" of airtime once again for no reason.

Today "A1+" asked what the NCTR representative had to say about CoE Human Rights Commissioner Thomas Hammarberg who asked why the NCTR had allowed "A1+" to participate in the tender after finding falsifications in the documents. "Perhaps Mr. Hammarberg is not aware of the order of the licensing tender. We initially checked only the version of the pages with "A1+", after which the documents were put in the program and signed. We had no competence to provide "A1+" with the documents until the day of the tender and we didn't have any idea that the documents were false," said the NCTR representative.

Were the scores of "0" for "A1+" due to the false documents or the package proposal? In response, Artak Sargsyan said he was not competent to decide on behalf of the NCTR members."
