Yerevan Mayor, Iranian Ambassador discuss issues of bilateral interest
Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan received Wednesday Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Seyed Ali Saqqaiyan.
The two men discussed issues of bilateral interest. The Ambassador stressed that the friendly relations between the two nations have rich historical and cultural heritage, which gives an opportunity to make bilateral ties more expedient.
For his turn, the Yerevan Mayor highlighted the creation of Armenia-Iran friendship garden and implementation of programs in environmental and transportation spheres.
Karen Karapetyan also presented the spheres Yerevan City Hall is ready to cooperate in.
"We consider the import of minibuses for Yerevan traffic management to be a priority," said the Yerevan Mayor.
