Thomas Hammarberg meets with Levon Ter-Petrosyan

On January 18, RA First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan met with Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe Thomas Hammarberg.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the release of political prisoners, the revelation of the murders of March 1, the involvement of the army in the events of March 1, as well as the freedom of press and rallies.
Participating in the meeting were representatives of the Armenian National Congress central office Levon Zurabyan, David Shahnazaryan and Vladimir Karapetyan, as reported by the Armenian National Congress central office.
