Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan congratulated his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko on the re-election wishing him robust health and success on his high position.
On December 19, Alexander Lukashenko won a landslide victory in the presidential elections amid mass demonstrations, which resulted in clashes between riot police and protesters. Hundreds of opposition activists were detained in the capital.
