Slow process
The State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing convened a sitting today chaired by President of the Commission, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan. The Commission discussed the work done in 2010 and the plans for 2011.
Members of the Commission expressed dissatisfaction over the process of return of the prisoners, noting that Azerbaijan is not demonstrating necessary willingness and resoluteness.
Attaching importance to the necessity of raising the efficiency of the process of exchange of hostages, members of the Commission noted that the harassment against Manvel Saribekyan prove that that the Azerbaijani authorities are restraining the activity of the Baku Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
