RA NA Speaker receives EP Rapporteur for Armenia
On December 20, Speaker of the Armenian parliament Hovik Abrahmyan received member of the European Parliament, Permanent Rapporteur for Armenia Tomasz Poręba.
Mr. Abrahamyan praised Poreba's visit to Armenia and Artsakh, noting that it will allow him to learn more about Armenia and the region, as well as Armenia's stance on EU-Armenia relations.
According to the Armenian parliament speaker, Armenia expects a just presentation of the situation in the European Parliament
Abrahamyan also attached importance to rapprochement with the EU, as well as establishment of bilateral ties with European countries.
"Armenia hails the Eastern Partnership program, as well as the idea of Euronest establishment," said Hovik Abrahamyan.
He expressed hope that Euronest will deepen Armenia-EU relations.
For his part, Poreba praised Armenia's participation in Euronest, saying it will allow better presentation of the country's position, the RA NA press service reported.
