A1+’s business plan is feasible
The National Commission on Television and Radio (NCTR) issued a statement Sunday explaining its decision to deprive A1+ TV Company a broadcasting license in Competition N. 11.
The Commission named as reasons for A1+'s defeat the false financial documents found in the company's contest package.
"The falsifications that are present in the business plan show that the company has no possibility to implement its program, irrespective of the volume of proposed programs, the company's ability to promote pluralism and skills of professional staff. A1+ pledges to engage means, which it actually lacks which, in its turn, makes the broadcast of international and local informative and analytical news through a digital network impossible," reads a NCTR statement.
Representatives of A1+ TV Company today convened a press conference to deny NCTR accusations and present a document, which provides €280000 financial assistance to the Company.
During the press conference, President of A1+ Company Mesrop Movsesyan said that Anna Tanelyan, Director of Paris-based SOS-CAMPING-LOISIRS Company has confirmed their readiness to assist A1+ though the NCTR could have verified the information itself as A1+ had provided the company's telephone numbers in its bid.
Mesrop Movsesyan considers the NCTR decision as an obscene defamation. He has already filed an action against the NCTR Chairman Grigor Amalyan.
