Will NA convene sitting to discuss A1+’s issue?
Heritage faction secretary Larisa Alaverdyan today announced that the four members of the National Commission on Television and Radio appointed by the National Assembly should give explanation in the parliament for putting "0" to the contest package of A1+ Company in a broadcasting license competition on December 16.
She urged the National Assembly to convene an extraordinary sitting to discuss the NCTR decision, which denied A1+ airtime for 13 times.
According to the Heritage representative, NCTR Chairman Grigor Amalyan violated the presumption of innocence and accused A1+ of presenting faked documents without a court order
"NCTR could have asked A1+ for clarification if it really doubted the authenticity of the documents," she said.
On December 16, the National Television and Radio Commission denied A1+ TV a broadcast license for digital range over 'fake' documents in the package proposed by the TV channel.
NCTR Chairman Grigor Amalyan said that the Commission discovered that some documents presented by A1+ were 'fake and prepared by unknown people.'
