HAK promises to overthrow the oligarchic system
"You needn't fear the authorities," Armenian National Congress (HAK) Coordinator Levon Zurabyan said during a meeting with residents of Masis City on December 17.
Today, HAK is holding four simultaneous rallies in four Armenian cities with a demand to release political prisoners.
Zurabyan emphasized public support in their struggle and called on everyone to join their ranks.
"People cannot live in constant fear. We must have all political prisoners released by the end of the year," said Zurabyan.
He reminded that HAK is supported by 18 political parties and thousands of citizens.
After speeches, HAK representatives headed to the HAK office in Masis.
During a meeting with residents of Martuni, HAK representatives said pre-term elections would be held in Armenia, which would put an end to the oligarchic system in the country.
