PM Tigran Sargsyan receives Latvian Ambassador

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargyan received newly appointed Latvian Ambassador to Armenia Gints Apals (residence in Vienna).

Wishing the Ambassador successful activity throughout his tenure in office, Mr. Sargsyan expressed hope that he would further deepen Armenian-Latvian relations.
Mr. Apals noted for his part that Latvia is ready to assist Armenia and share its experience in cooperation with the EU.

The two men discussed ways to promote bilateral economic cooperation and facilitate business ties through conduction of forums. The Armenian PM attached importance to the determination of new directions of cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of European integration.

The interlocutors also dwelt on political and economic developments in both countries in the post-crisis period.
