Vardan Harutyunyan appointed head of ArmRosgazprom
Vardan Harutyunyan, deputy general director of ArmRosgazprom, has replaced Karen Karapetyan after the latter was elected the Mayor of Yerevan on December 17.
Talking to A1+, Spokesperson for ArmRosgazprom Shushan Sardaryan confirmed the reports on Harutyunyan's appointment.
He has been deputy chairman of ArmRosgazprom since 2009. He was the general director's assistant on trade and international relations.
According to press reports, Harutyunyan has close relations with the Leader of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Gagik Tsarukyan.
He is also the owner of Arkayadzor restaurant complex
