Preelection passions?
"Heritage Party is disappointed at the behaviour of parliament majority," head of Heritage parliamentary group Stepan Safaryan said during the parliamentary briefings on December 10.
"Now the responsibility lies with the Armenian authorities. The authorities have chosen a wrong path full of dangers and obstacles. The ruling coalition is responsible for negative consequences ensuing from failure to recognize NKR independence," said the Heritage MP.
Speaking about the 2011 draft budget, Stepan Safaryan said it was far from being perfect.
"It cannot be called a budget of sustainable economic growth," he said adding that the authorities are simply unable to lead the country to development.
With regard to recent developments in the political sphere, Mr. Safaryan said they are interstate issues.
"I cannot understand why an official who violates ethic norms is punished while the one who breaks laws is left unpunished. Why the former mayor who reportedly beat an official of Department of Protocol at the presidential office is not sued?" he said linking the events with the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.
