NA Chairman Hovik Abrahamyan today nominated head of the NA legal department Ashot Khachatryan in the vacant position of CC member. MPs, including oppositionists, underlined that nobody doubts Ashot Khachatryan's knowledge.
MP Hovhannes Margaryan said Margaryan is a good professional and some MPs deemed it necessary to touch upon his personal attributes as well. "Heritage" MP Stepan Safaryan didn't dispute Ashot Khachatryan's knowledge and his nomination and only wished that he take decisions for Armenia.
After the speeches, the National Assembly organized a vote and Ashot Khachatryan was elected member of the CC. Let us remind that yesterday Serzh Sargsyan appointed Arevik Petrosyan in the second vacant position of CC member.
