Released
Another political prisoner, Felix Gevorgyan was released from "Vardashen" penitentiary after serving 1/3 of this time in prison.
He had to be released a week ago, but the trial had been postponed.
Felix Gevorgyan's relatives, Armenian National Congress activists and supporters had gathered near the penitentiary.
Felix Gevorgyan was sentenced to prison after the events of March 1, 2008. He was sentenced to 7 years under Part 2, Article 235 (obtaining and keeping illegal weapons and ammunition) and Article 238 (confiscating weapons, ammunition and explosive devices).
