Sent to NA Chairman
The "Heritage" parliamentary faction has sent the draft law on "Making changes in and additions to the RA Law (henceforth Law) on "Subsidies for Temporary Invalidity"" by MPs Raffi Hovhannisian, Styopa Safaryan, Larisa Alaverdyan, Anahit Bakhshyan, Armen Martirosyan and Zaruhi Postanjyan to the Chairman of the National Assembly. According to the RA Law on "NA Regulations", the NA Chairman will officially put the draft law into circulation within two days.
Let us remind that on 3 November when the RA President still hadn't ratified the changes in that law which were accepted by the NA on 27 October, "Heritage" faction had addressed the RA President and called on him to return it to the National Assembly, objecting the change made in Part 1, Article 11 of the law and proposing to return it to the previous edition. The RA President didn't use the right reserved by the RA Constitution and ratified the changes made in the Law on 27 October.
The draft law proposes to at least reinstate the previous provision, that is, to set the subsidy for pregnancy and childbirth at the amount of the average salary (and not increase the amount of subsidies).
