Meeting at the MD
On December 2, RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Armenia Anri Reno.
Seyran Ohanyan highly appreciated the effectiveness of the Armenian-French cooperation in the defense sphere and expressed hope that Mr. Reno's tenure will bring a new sweep to the development of bilateral cooperation in the defense sphere and will contribute to the strengthening of security and stability in the region.
During the meeting, the sides discussed Armenian officers' education at French military-educational institutions, the exchange of experience in the sphere of peace-keeping and other issues of bilateral interest, as reported by the department of information and public relations of the RA Ministry of Defense.
