Captives want to return to their homelands
"A civilian and a war prisoner from Armenia and Azerbaijanexpressed desire to return to their countries," Head of the ICRC delegation in Azerbaijan Mrs. Chérine Pollini told journalists today.
"Currently, negotiations on the swap are underway but no agreement has been reached yet," she said.
"According to an agreement achieved in October by the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia, intensive negotiations are underway in connection with handover of captives and hostages between the two countries," Pollini was quoted as saying.
