Armenia, Hungary sign agreement on cooperation

On November 23 Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan had a meeting with this Hungarian counterpart Csaba Hende. The discussions mostly focused on issues of regional security given the fact that Hungary is going to assume the EU Presidency in 2011.

The two diplomats signed  an agreement of cooperation between the Defense Ministries of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Hungary in the military field.

The Armenian Defense Minister visited the Heroes' Square in Budapest to pay tribute to the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.

Within the framework of the visit, Minister Ohanyan is expected to meet representatives of the local Armenian community and lay a wreath at the memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims.
