President Sargsyan expects immediate solution
"I want to assure you that Armenia seeks to establish peace and security in the Caucasus region. Our efforts to find a peaceful and long-lasting solution to the Karabakh conflict are conditioned by this desire," Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said during a meeting with his Russian counterpart in the Kremlin, Moscow.
Serzh Sargsyan thanked Dmitry Medvedev for his efforts in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
"Russia always played a crucial role in Caucasus. I hope your efforts will soon yield results," Serzh Sargsyan is quoted as saying.
The Russian president said the frequent meetings with his Armenian counterpart enable the two leaders to "synchronize" bilateral relations and regional problems, refer to the resolution of the Karabakh conflict and outline prospects for the future.
