Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian today refuted the rumours on secret talks between Armenia and Turkey.

"If Turkey really wants to normalize relations with Armenia, it must ratify the protocols signed between the two countries without any preconditions," Edward Nalbandian said in the National Assembly answering the question of Republican Gagik Melikyan.

"We are not conducting secret talks with Turkey. Only Turkey is capable of discontinuing the talks," said Minister Nalbandian.

"Turks will be Turks," NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan remarked.

In reply to ARF-Dashnaktustyun MP Ruzanna Arakelyan's question on the possible increase of gas price, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan said, "The Armenian Government is holding negotiations with the Russian Gazprom Company to maintain the current fee for gas importuned to Armenia. We try to prevent further advance in prices. If the price goes up, it will happen only in April 2011."

"Mr. Movsisyan, struggle till the end," Hovik Abrahamyan made another remark.
