Days of Rostov to be held in Armenia
President Serzh Sargsyan today received the delegation headed by governor of the Russian province of Rostov Vasily Golubeyev.
The President emphasized the high-profile relations between Armenia and Russia and expressed satisfaction with the implementation of the agreements reached during President Medvedev's official visit to Armenia. The head of state particularly discussed the establishment of direct relations and expansion of cooperation between regions and said that one of the examples of that is the visit of the Rostov governor to Armenia.
According to President Sargsyan, the provinces of Russia can become good, reliable partners fro Armenia's provinces with their economic opportunities and potential for cooperation in different spheres. The head of state also attached importance to the role of many Armenians living in the Russian provinces in the development of cooperation between the regions.
The governor of Rostov Vasily Golubeyev viewed his meetings and discussions in Armenia as practical and effective, stating that he has already reached certain agreements for cooperation in different spheres.
According to Vasily Golubeyev, the cooperation between Armenia and Rostov in the spheres of agriculture, industry, science and tourism is very perspective. The governor of Rostov attached importance to the days dedicated to Rostov in Armenia within the framework of which the province's potential and cooperation will be presented.
